FAN BALANCING
Balancing of the main smoke extraction fan of the biofuel boiler room
Problem: increased amplitude of vibration speed. A 1x peak is visible in the spectrum.
Solution: Rotor Balancing Pruftechnik Vibxpert II device
Result: The amplitude of the fan vibration speed meets the ISO 10816-3 standard.
VIBRATION DIAGNOSTICS
Diagnostics of complex gearbox vibrations
Problem: increased vibration acceleration amplitude. The spectrum shows peaks that are multiples of the number of gear teeth.
Solution: vibration diagnostics with Pruftechnik Vibxpert II instrument.
Result: damage to the gear teeth was found.
SHAFT ALIGNMENT
Centering cardan shafts without their disassembly
Problem: increased amplitude of vibration speed. The 1x and 2x peaks are visible in the spectrum.
The solution:alignment the cardan shafts with Rotalign Touch device.
Result: a large deviation from the alignment errors of the shafts was found. Cardan shaft alignment is done without disassembling the shaft.
SHAFT ALIGNMENT
Alignment of horizontal and vertical shafts
Problem: increased amplitude of vibration speed. 2x peaks are visible in the spectrum.
Solution: Alignment the shafts with Optalign Touch device.
Result: a large deviation from the alignment errors of the shafts was found. Alignment of the shafts is done.
ENGINE BEARING POCKETS MESUREMENT
Measurement of alignment of ship engine bearings
Problem: Checking the alignment of engine bearings pockets during overhaul.
Solution: Check the polarity with Rotalign Ultra device.
Result: The measurement results do not meet the required axial tolerances.
BUSHING ALIGNMENT
Alignment ship steering shaft bushings
Problem: Worn lower steering shaft bushing.
Solution: Alignment the bottom bushing with Rotalign Ultra device.
Result: a large deviation from the bushing alignment errors was found. Centering of the new bushing is done.
